My favorite
new teacher tool to use is VistaPrint. VistaPrint
allows you to create all sorts of printed materials (business cards,
posters, banners, labels, mousepads, tote bags, magnets, etc.) for
little to no cost. All you have to pay for is shipping!
What's the catch? You have to use certain coupons
or links
to
get the best deals. I have selected three of the best links
for you to follow to get the items you want for free.
Sometimes, you will end up paying a small fee for extra
options such as colored backs, photo uploads, etc.
My recommendation is to try to go in through various links to
find the best deal for the item you are making. If one of
these links doesn't give you a good deal on the item you want, do a web
search for that item such as: "Vistaprint free tote bag". You
can sometimes find the deal you want by searching the internet for
links.
You can have up to ten free items in
your shopping
cart at one time. You can only have one of each item type in
your cart. For example, you can only order one car magnet per
order. You can order multiple car magnets, but they must be
placed in separate orders.
It will take some playing with to
get used to the website, but once you get started, it is easy to
customize your orders.
I have posted
some links below to help you get started!
VistaPrint Examples
These
are the things I have ordered off of VistaPrint so far. Many
were
ideas I borrowed from other teachers on the ProTeacher
community
boards.
Please feel
free to use anything you see!
Some were
images I found in Vista's image library, others were things I
manipulated with paint shop pro. I edited a lot of them using
the "Advanced Editing". Enjoy!
